At Last Love After Quarantine

This sixth decade of my life has been challenging, to say the least. A surprise layoff, and then another, forced my catapult into unknown creativity. I had never painted in any medium, much less on canvas. My home, the walls, yes. I wanted an original piece for my dining room after painting it, then the living room, and so the story begins. This piece, “At last: Love After Quarantine,” refers expressly to the theme, “The New Normal.” The couple is wearing masks and gloves in a face-to- face first meeting at sunrise, after quarantine. A sign of the times.
